Job summary

Clover Health is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buyer to join our Procurement team in the United States. This role supports purchasing activities, contract renewals, supplier relationships, and CLM processes, with exposure to sourcing, vendor negotiations, and procurement operations.

You will partner with IT, Legal, Finance, Compliance, and business teams, manage supplier records, and ensure compliance with procurement policies while advancing cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or vendor management.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Word & Excel.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and serve as main contact for inquiries, renewals, and requests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (IT, HR, Finance, Legal, etc.) to support procurement initiatives.
• Manage contract renewals and assist with sourcing, supplier selection, and procurement activities.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and other commercial terms for vendor contracts.
• Review contracts for terms, risks, and provide basic redlining support following standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional approvers to facilitate contract review, approval, and execution.
• Maintain supplier, contract, and procurement records in the CLM system and ensure compliance.
• Support spend analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement across procurement.
