This full-time remote role focuses on complex denials and appeals, reviewing EOBs, following up with insurers, and maintaining detailed documentation while upholding HIPAA and reimbursement guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• 4 years of related experience in payor policies including reimbursement and appeals.
• Experience with NextGen and/or OnBase preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify unpaid, short-paid or denied claims and resolve them.
• Review EOBs and insurer communications for correct reimbursement.
• Follow up with insurers by portal, phone, email, or fax.
• Identify billing errors and submit corrected claims.
• Document findings clearly and maintain compliance with HIPAA.
