Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to review Prior Authorization and Appeals requests, assess clinical information, and determine coverage in collaboration with physicians and healthcare teams.

This remote, fast-paced position requires a PharmD or equivalent and availability for a 6–10 month contract-to-hire term, with benefits starting on day one and eligibility for 401(k) after 90 days.

• 6+ months of healthcare customer service experience.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook.

• Active Pharmacist license in the state of work
• 6+ months of customer service/customer relations experience with healthcare professionals
• Basic Excel, Word & Outlook proficiency
• Comfortable working remotely and independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

The Role:

Review Prior Authorization & Appeals requests, assess clinical information, make evidence-based coverage determinations, and collaborate with physicians, pharmacy technicians, and healthcare providers. You'll also ensure accurate documentation and compliance with Medicare Part D, Medicaid, commercial benefits, and state/federal pharmacy regulations.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
