Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a Remote Pharmacist to perform Prior Authorization and Clinical Review duties. This contract-to-hire role requires a current Pharmacist license in your state of residence and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

You will review clinical criteria, assess patient profiles, communicate with patients and prescribers, verify prescriptions, and ensure compliance with quality and hazardous waste standards. Remote work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in good standing in your state of residence (include license # + expiration date).
• High School Diploma/GED (verifiable).
• Ability to meet remote work requirements: min 25 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload.
• Dedicated private workspace (no screen visibility / conversations overheard).
• Smartphone required (VPN token).
• Camera-on participation for trainings/team meetings.
• Reliable work history with no unexplained gaps / frequent short tenures.

Preferred (not required)

• Strong retail pharmacy background (especially Pharmacy Manager experience or 2+ years as Staff Pharmacist with the same employer).
• PBM / Prior Auth experience (if you have it: 1+ year in a PBM setting handling Prior Auth — not MTM).
• Residency/fellowship, leadership projects, or comparable initiatives.
• New grads considered if leadership/residency/fellowship experience is strong.
