Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Principal Threat Intelligence Hunter to join Unit 42 Managed Threat Hunting. You will drive proactive, intelligence‑led hunting across multinational customer environments, translating threat intel into actionable hunting hypotheses and customer-facing findings.

You will collaborate with threat hunters, detection engineers, incident responders, MDR teams, and Unit 42 researchers to operationalize intelligence quickly, mentor peers, and shape threat intelligence

Qualificações

• 8+ years of experience in tactical threat hunting, cyber threat intelligence, DFIR, or advanced security operations.
• Strong background identifying traces, artifacts, and behavior fingerprints across telemetry sources.
• Proven ability to translate threat intelligence into high‑impact customer notifications.
• Experience building and delivering hunting hypotheses and detection logic; familiarity with AI tooling is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead complex investigations and drive changes across multi-tenant environments.
• Develop and tune hunting queries, IOC workflows, and analytics across telemetry sources.
• Collaborate with MDR, detection, and research teams to operationalize intelligence quickly.
• Mentor junior hunters and provide clear, high‑impact findings for customers.
• Publish research under the Unit 42 brand and contribute to threat intelligence knowledge bases.
