Job summary

ConsultNet is seeking a Principal Developer, PLM (Teamcenter) to take ownership of Teamcenter development from prototype to production. You will configure BMIDE, extend data models, and manage template packaging across environments, while building workflows and Active Workspace customizations.

The role involves server-side customizations, strong collaboration with stakeholders, and ensuring CI/CD readiness in a regulated setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 7+ years hands-on Teamcenter development experience with active coding.
• Experience on Teamcenter 2024/2025 or later releases.
• Strong BMIDE experience with business objects, properties and templates.
• Experience designing and building workflows and Active Workspace customization.
• Proficiency in ITK (C/C++) and modern web scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Own Teamcenter development from prototype to production-ready solutions.
• Drive BMIDE data model extensions and template deployment across environments.
• Design and maintain workflows and workflow handlers for engineering change and document control.
• Configure Active Workspace, including UI, stylesheets, and custom commands.
• Develop server-side customizations and decide when to implement custom code.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders during prototype processes.
• Build integrations between Teamcenter and ERP, CAD, manufacturing, and middleware.
• Maintain source control assets, participate in code reviews, and support CI/CD.
• Produce technical design docs, unit tests, and deployment runbooks for regulated environments.
• Coordinate with platform admins on upgrades and patch impact.
