Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in Boston, MA seeks a Principal Statistical Programmer to lead programming activities within a clinical sub-team, delegate tasks, track progress, and provide expert technical support. You will lead cross-functional efforts, QC SAS code and outputs, contribute to eCTD submissions (ISS/ISE), and ensure compliance with FDA/ICH regulations.

Candidates should have a strong background in clinical development, CDISC standards, and effective communication; 5+ years with MS or 8+

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline.
• Typical requirement: 5+ years (MS) or 8+ years (BS) in biotech/pharmaceuticals/CRO.
• Proficiency in SAS (Macro language, BASE SAS, SAS/STAT, SAS/GRAPH) and CDISC

Responsibilities

• Lead statistical programming efforts within designated clinical sub-team(s).
• Perform QC checks of SAS code and outputs from other programmers.
• Provide expert technical support for clinical development and data.
• Create files, analyses for eCTD submissions (ISS/ISE).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Biostatistics and Data Management.
• Ensure compliance with Vertex SOPs and FDA/ICH/GCP regulations.
