Job summary

Optiv is seeking a Principal SailPoint Engineer to join its Security Operations Center as part of the AFC team. You will design, implement, and manage SailPoint ISC/IIQ across client environments, coordinating with Solution Architects and Principal Security Engineers to deliver high-profile IAM services.

The role requires deep SailPoint expertise, strong scripting, and collaboration across IT and security teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 7+ years in information security.
• 7-10 years in information security field.
• 5+ years senior IDAM engineer experience.
• 5+ years SailPoint experience.
• Experience with Java, PowerShell, etc.
• Experience with AWS/GCP cloud environments is a bonus.
• Knowledge and experience with IAM technologies like SSO, SCIM, OAuth, SAML, Encryption, PKI.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage SailPoint ISC and IIQ across client environments.
• Lead IAM initiatives and contribute to client security strategy.
• Provide engineering support for IAM incidents and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with IT, security, and business units to implement IAM solutions.
• Develop automation and self-service capabilities for IAM.
• Document architecture, requirements, and test cases.
