Job summary

Harris Computer is seeking a Principal Network Engineer to architect and drive complex enterprise networks across on-prem, cloud, data center and hybrid environments. You will lead design, implementation, and security initiatives with a focus on reliability and performance.

Responsibilities include optimizing LAN/WAN, data center and cloud connectivity, steering VPNs, SD-WAN, VXLAN/EVPN, and firewall strategies, while mentoring engineers and collaborating with Cloud, Security, Infra, and Ops

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years in enterprise networking and security.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, cloud networking, data center, SD-WAN and hybrid environments.
• Hands-on experience with Azure or other major cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support scalable LAN/WAN, data center, cloud, and hybrid networks.
• Provide advanced expertise in routing, switching, security, VPNs, QoS, and load balancers.
• Lead complex network troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root-cause analysis.
• Mentor network engineers and collaborate with Cloud, Security, Infra, App, and Ops teams.
