Job summary

Trident Systems Space Electronic Systems division seeks a Principal FPGA Networking Engineer to design and verify high-speed FPGA-based networking solutions for space systems. You will architect, implement, and validate Ethernet/IP/TCP/UDP datapaths using AMD Xilinx technologies in a remote-capable, full-time role.

The ideal candidate has deep RTL, timing closure, and system integration experience, with hands-on FPGA networking design including 100G interfaces, packet switching, and hardware

Qualifications

• Hands-on FPGA networking design experience including Ethernet 802.3.
• Experience with RTL design, simulation, and verification for high-throughput FPGA systems.
• Familiarity with Vivado and associated debugging tools.

Responsibilities

• Architect FPGA-based networking pipelines and datapaths for high-throughput space systems.
• Code, simulate, and verify RTL modules (Ethernet MAC/PHY, packet processing, routing).
• Collaborate with hardware/software teams for system integration and bring-up.
