Job summary

Celcuity is seeking a Senior/Principal Scientist in Formulation and Process Development to support the drug product lifecycle, focusing on oncology indications. The role leads formulation and process development for novel and existing formulations, including pre-formulation, dosage form selection, process scale-up, and manufacturing.

You will design and interpret experiments at contract labs and CDMOs, support technical and regulatory documentation including IP filings, and serve as a subject

Qualifications

• Ph.D./M.S./B.S. in Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related fields.
• 7+ years of industry experience in drug development with expertise in small-molecule formulations, sterile/parenteral dosage forms, and techniques such as nano-milling, emulsions, salt screening, and lyophilization.
• Strong physicochemical characterization skills, preclinical support experience, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead formulation and process development for novel and existing formulations, including pre-formulation, dosage form selection, process scale-up, and manufacturing.
• Design and interpret experiments at contract labs and CDMOs.
• Support technical and regulatory documentation, including IP filings.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on formulation strategies, especially for poorly water-soluble APIs.
• Identify new external partners.
