Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect to lead enterprise-wide technology and business architecture, partnering with executives and delivery teams to drive transformation and operational excellence. This role is 100% remote with travel ~25% (potentially 50%).

Requires 10+ years of technical consulting experience, strong leadership, and expertise across cloud, APIs, microservices, and TOGAF. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of equivalent experience as a technical consultant in a related industry, including supervisory experience.
• Experience presenting information/assessments/recommendations to senior executives.
• Proficient experience with SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics.
• Proficient with Cloud Platforms (AWS and Azure) as well as hybrid and on Premise environments.
• Understanding of business models, operating models, financial models, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting and risk management.
• Proficient with enterprise architecture tools, related graphical models, and frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Translates strategic business goals into architecture blueprints and capability models.
• Guides teams in delivering integrated, end-to-end solutions across domains, platforms and ecosystems.
• Identifies and manages architectural risks, technical debt, and complexity for long-term health.
• Establishes and promotes architecture principles, standards, and reference architectures.
• Influences investment decisions and prioritization through architecture assessments and roadmaps.
