Eliassen Group seeks a Principal Application System Analyst for a remote role supporting a State Health Plan initiative. You will gather requirements for API Connect workstreams, document APIs, and create specifications for development teams to drive scalable enterprise solutions.

This role emphasizes end-to-end traceability, design influence, and collaboration with Platform Integrations and Strategic Platform Engineering teams to improve member and business value.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred; in lieu of a degree, 10+ years of related experience will be considered.
10+ years of API Connect and DataPower experience in the last five years.
Strong communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical designs.

Responsibilities

Gather requirements for API Connect development workstreams and document APIs.
Create clear functional specifications for developers detailing updates, changes, and new components.
Facilitate and influence design, construction, deployment, and maintenance of complex technical solutions.
Translate business requirements and rules into enterprise-oriented functional designs.
