Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Principal DevOps Architect to provide technical leadership across enterprise DevOps, cloud architecture, containerization, software delivery, and automation. This role will establish architecture and engineering best practices and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions for government programs.

Qualifications

• Experience with full-stack development across enterprise applications.
• Strong coding skills in .NET 4 and .NET 8+.
• Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Vue.js.
• Experience with SQL Server and data modeling.
• Knowledge of software architecture patterns and secure design.
• Familiarity with cloud services, AWS preferred.
• Experience with authentication standards OIDC, SAML 2.0, JWT.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement DevOps and Containerization best practices, release pipelines, and automation.
• Lead adoption of industry best practices aligning with business goals.
• Mentor DevOps engineers and promote team excellence.
• Develop configuration management for the SDLC.
• Manage version control, build, and packaging; mentor juniors.
• Collaborate with cloud services for deployments and containerization.
• Develop automation scripts for build and versioning.
• Resolve complex issues in version control and CI systems.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and IT ops to automate builds and deployments.
• Oversee large projects ensuring service delivery excellence.
