Danta Technologies is seeking a Principal Data Architect specializing in data modelling to lead enterprise-scale data platforms in a remote US-based role. The candidate will own data modeling, governance, and cloud-native lakehouse/data mesh architectures, partnering with AI teams and security/compliance groups.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of hands-on data engineering and data architecture experience.
• Deep data modeling expertise — dimensional, normalized, and Data Vault.
• Proven experience with lakehouse/data mesh platforms: Databricks, Delta Lake, Snowflake, Kafka, Spark Streaming, and cloud-native services.
• Strong SQL and performance engineering skills: partitioning, clustering, cost management.
• Ownership of data governance, quality, master data, metadata, and lineage programs.
• Experience with data security/compliance in regulated industries.
• Migration of on-prem warehouses to cloud-native platforms.
• Familiar with ML/AI data needs and feature pipelines.
