Job summary

Amtrak is seeking a Principal Cybersecurity Governance Analyst (Remote) to drive enterprise governance programs. You’ll lead policy lifecycle management, governance forums, and executive reporting, ensuring alignment with NIST/COBIT frameworks and regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with business units, BISOs, and legal teams to embed governance across the enterprise while promoting governance education and stakeholder engagement in a remote-capable role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 7 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience developing and operating enterprise cybersecurity governance programs including policy and controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity policy governance and lifecycle management.
• Establish governance forums and executive-level reporting.
• Develop governance dashboards, KPIs, and KRIs for senior leadership.
• Align cybersecurity strategy with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with BISOs, legal, privacy, and compliance teams for governance integration.
• Coordinate audit responses and support external audits.
