Job summary

Presidio is seeking a Principal Consultant to join our Cybersecurity Architecture team in a remote capacity. You will review client security architectures, identify risks, and provide recommendations aligned with regulatory requirements and best practices.

You will collaborate with multiple security groups and lead large engagements. Requires 10+ years in IT/security consulting, strong communication, and expertise in AI security, cloud security, identity security, and zero trust principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military or work experience.
• 10+ years IT/security/consulting/professional services experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Comfort with leading group presentations and whiteboard sessions.
• Experience with security architectures across AI, cloud, identity, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead large security engagements with Presidio Cybersecurity team.
• Discuss client security architectures and identify architectural risks.
• Develop secure architectures aligned to PCI DSS, HIPAA, NIST 800-171, NERC CIP and CIS/NIST benchmarks.
• Provide strategic, operational, and tactical recommendations to remediate risks.
• Collaborate on architecture assessments using CIS, NIST CSF, and related standards.
• Ensure on-time delivery and high client satisfaction.
