Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, part of Danaher, is seeking a Principal Clinical Scientist to lead clinical trial strategies across US and EU for Neurodegenerative programs. This role supports Beckman Coulter Diagnostics and Life Sciences, driving study design, regulatory compliance, and milestones for pivotal clinical studies.

The position is remote-based (or onsite in Chaska MN) and offers the opportunity to collaborate with R&D, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Quality, and Commercial teams to align

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field with 9+ years of experience in clinical research, US/EU trials.
• Master’s degree with 12+ years, or Doctoral with 4+ years of experience in relevant fields.
• Understanding of clinical study design for diagnostics, medical devices, or pharmaceutical industries.

Responsibilities

• Design clinical studies and evidence strategies supporting global regulatory submissions (FDA/CE) across diagnostic modalities.
• Act as scientific/clinical liaison with regulatory bodies and key opinion leaders.
• Partner cross-functionally with R&D, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Quality, and Commercial teams to align programs with product development and market access needs.
• Author and review clinical and regulatory documentation including study reports and technical files.
• Build collaborations, mentor junior scientists, and maintain expertise in evolving regulatory standards.
