Responsibilities
- Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders and technical partners.
- Utilize IBM API Connect (API Manager) to draft APIs and document specifications.
- Capture API details: requests, responses, endpoints, and data elements.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional designs and development-ready docs.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure API requirements are complete and actionable.
- Analyze existing systems to identify gaps, risks and impacts of changes.
- Prioritize requirements and coordinate timelines with technical dependencies.
- Review documentation for quality, consistency and traceability.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support solution design, implementation planning and ongoing maintenance.
- Provide mentorship to less experienced analysts.
