Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider delivering virtual care across 44 states. Physicians set their own visit schedule, work from anywhere, and operate with a streamlined EMR and provider-support team. Compensation is $35 per completed consult (1099) with effective pay up to $210/hour and top earners over $260K annually.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states and willingness to add more (QuickMD covers costs).
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days, with weekly schedules.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to clinical excellence.
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs; training provided.
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL where required.
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, especially in underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and treatment.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder).
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care.
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices.
