Job summary

Navitus seeks a Manager, Pricing and Underwriting to lead pricing, underwriting, and risk analysis across new business, renewals, and client pricing requests. You will mentor Supervisors and Analysts, oversee pricing and profitability models, and drive process improvements while ensuring compliant, well-documented decisions.

The role reports to the Director, Pricing and Underwriting, develops pricing recommendations, and supports RFP opportunities and client engagements with financial insight

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field.
• 4+ years of pricing and/or underwriting experience in PBM/managed care or related setting.
• 2+ years of progressive leadership experience.
• Experience in PBM industry and with financial valuation models is preferred.
• Compliance program objectives and risk considerations are part of the role.
• Ability to interact cooperatively across teams and with clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage pricing and underwriting for new business, renewals, RFPs, and client pricing requests.
• Lead, coach, and train supervisors and analysts to deliver accurate pricing, underwriting, and risk analyses.
• Oversee data interpretation for claims utilization, network pricing, rebates, fees, trends, and client profitability.
• Develop and maintain pricing, risk, and profitability models for prospective and current clients.
• Evaluate pricing risk, financial guarantees, and value of client relationships.
• Maintain underwriting guidelines, pricing standards, and approval processes for compliant decisions.
• Participate in client meetings and internal strategy discussions to communicate pricing and risk.
• Support leadership reporting on pricing, underwriting, profitability, risk exposure, and performance metrics.
• Identify process improvements, model enhancements, and training opportunities to increase accuracy and value.
• Mentor and develop team members to ensure a pipeline of future leaders.
