Job summary

Midwest Technical Inspections (MTI) is seeking experienced virtual premium auditors to work as independent contractors, delivering premium audits for Workers Compensation, Commercial General Liability, and Garage Liability from a home office. Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of premium audit experience, proficiency with payroll documents and financial statements, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years Premium Audit experience.
• Proficiency with payroll documents and financial statements.
• Working knowledge of class codes, PAAS, ISO, NCCI and state rules.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to independently manage assigned audits.
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform virtual premium audits for Workers Compensation, Commercial General Liability and Garage Liability policies.
• Examine payroll records, tax returns, general ledgers, and sales journals to determine the correct premium base and exposures.
• Complete quality, accurate, and timely audit reports by using company software.
• Deliver superior internal and external customer service.
