Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Precision Medicine Data Lead to guide the integration, governance, and transformation of complex healthcare datasets for AI training and clinical research. This fully remote contract role offers 10–40 hours per week and a chance to shape precision medicine initiatives at scale.

You'll design data pipelines, set governance standards, and collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and engineers to ensure high-quality, regulatorily compliant data for advanced AI models.

Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale healthcare or life sciences datasets in analytics or data leadership roles.
• Strong background in data integration and data governance.
• Ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights for scientific or clinical audiences.
• Experience collaborating with clinical, research, and engineering teams in regulated environments.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently and asynchronously.

Responsibilities

• Design, oversee, and optimize data pipelines that integrate genomics, clinical records, biomarkers, and other healthcare data into unified analytics platforms.
• Lead analytics strategies that convert complex, integrated datasets into actionable insights for research, clinical decision support, and precision medicine initiatives.
• Collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and technical teams to ensure data quality, regulatory compliance, and strategic alignment.
• Translate highly technical findings into clear, meaningful outputs for both scientific and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute domain expertise to the development and evaluation of AI models trained on healthcare and life sciences data.
