Qualifications

• 1–3 years hospital registration or insurance experience desirable.
• At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role.

Responsibilities

• Navigate pre-registration, insurance verification and prior authorization to clear financial obligations.
• Coordinate referral/authorization with physicians, payers and departments for scheduled care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance while handling sensitive data.
• Document referrals/authorizations in the practice management and Epic systems.
