This position involves providing engineering design and support for security solutions for both new and existing clients, collaborating with internal teams, external teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Understand standard electronic security technology (ACS, IDS, FDS, CCTV) and supporting equipment such as computer software/hardware, databases, and networking infrastructure.
• Review architectural, electrical, telecommunication, security engineering floor plans, riser drawings, device schedules, and detail drawings.
• Design, develop, and implement solutions for system installations, upgrades, repairs, and conversions.
• Review Field Site Survey documentation and provide technical assistance with RFI/RFP responses.
• Create solution design documentation (drawings, BOMs, summaries).
• Provide technical support to in-office and on-site team members.
• Assist management in creating documentation for new technology implementations with customers.
• Stay updated on current and emerging electronic security technologies and industry-leading vendors.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of relevant industry experience.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in designing and planning access control and video systems.
• Professional certifications or training in electronic security (Lenel, Genetec, C-Cure, Avigilon, Axis, Bosch, Milestone, etc.) preferred.
