Job summary

Kansas Health System is seeking a part-time Pre-Reg/Pre-Cert Specialist to identify patients eligible for pre-registration and pre-certification, verify demographics and insurance data, and enter information into the registration system.

You will handle pre-service collections, coordinate with clinics and payer sources, contact employers or insurers as needed, and ensure compliance with Medicare/Medicaid rules while supporting admissions and outpatient services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Epic experience preferred (1+ year).
• Experience in pre-registration or prior authorization preferred (1+ year).

Responsibilities

• Identify patients for pre-registration and pre-certification.
• Enter patient data into the registration system.
• Verify demographic and insurance information for accuracy.
• Coordinate with clinics and payers regarding coverage and qualifications.
• Assist with pre-service collections and related documentation.
