Job summary

New Frontier Immigration Law is seeking a Pre-Filing Specialist to join the Onboarding & Evidence Team remotely. You will manage the initial client journey, gather and translate crucial evidence, and coordinate with the legal team to ensure a smooth transition.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, handles high-volume caseloads, and communicates with clients in a calm, empathetic manner, especially during stressful situations.

Qualifications

• Prior immigration legal support experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with family-based, humanitarian, consular processes and visa categories.
• Experience requesting or processing FOIAs, FBI checks, police or court records.
• Experience using Filevine, HubSpot, Monday.com, Outlook or Teams is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onboarding calls and gather background information from new clients.
• Maintain consistent client communication and track documents.
• Translate client documents and assist with interpretation as needed.
• Open new matters in Filevine and review related data before onboarding.
• Coordinate with paralegals, attorneys, and other departments to move cases forward.
• Prepare case notes and next-step documentation in Filevine.
