Job summary

ARES Corporation is seeking an experienced Probabilistic Risk Assessment Analyst for the Starliner human spaceflight program. The role is remote with well-qualified candidates in the US and hybrid options for on-site work in Houston or Denver.

You will develop probabilistic risk models, apply fault trees and event trees, and support FAA launch licensing activities. Strong communication skills and the ability to work across multiple customers are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience performing PRA or equivalent risk analysis on aerospace systems.
• Ability to develop and refine probabilistic models and interpret results.
• Experience with human-spaceflight programs and FAA Part 450 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and quantify probabilistic risk models for Starliner and Vulcan.
• Perform risk assessments across vehicle systems and crew-related scenarios.
• Support FAA licensing analyses and documentation.
• Produce PRA reports and integrate with system safety activities.
• Collaborate with Boeing, ULA, and engineering teams; present findings.
