Luna PR, a global integrated communications consultancy, seeks a seasoned Public Relations & Communications Specialist based in the United States. This remote role focuses on media-first execution, turning client developments into meaningful media opportunities and building relationships with U.S.

journalists. You will lead media strategy across a portfolio of clients, understand each client’s business and competitive landscape, and craft narratives that position executives as credible voices

Qualifications

• Strong experience in public relations and earned media.
• Understanding of the U.S. media landscape and journalist operations.
• Excellent writing; ability to translate complex topics into clear narratives.
• Experience with technology, fintech, Web3, AI, or related disruptive tech is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Own media strategy and execution for a portfolio of U.S. and global client accounts.
• Develop relationships with journalists, editors, producers, podcasters, and other media contacts across the United States.
• Consistently pitch and secure earned media opportunities, including interviews, features, commentary, podcasts, and bylines.
• Identify proactive story angles beyond client announcements and press releases.
• Monitor breaking news and industry trends to identify opportunities for clients.
• Draft pitches, press releases, media briefs, messaging documents, talking points, and thought leadership pieces.
• Build executive profiles and position founders and senior leaders as credible voices in their industries.
• Maintain journalist relationships through regular outreach and briefings.
