Job summary

NexGen Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Power Platform Developer to build custom business apps on the Microsoft Power Platform for Federal Government clients.

This remote role emphasizes model- driven apps, robust integrations with Power Platform connectors, Dataverse APIs, and Azure services, with occasional on-camera meetings. You will design, develop, implement, and maintain solutions, collaborating with project managers, business analysts, and SMEs, and communicating progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience with the Power Platform is required.
• In-depth knowledge of the Power Platform stack: PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Power Pages.
• Ability to translate business needs to technical specs with a user-centric UI/UX focus.
• Experience developing Canvas and Model-Driven apps.
• Experience with Dataverse as data source for Power Apps.
• Experience integrating with Azure services (Functions, Service Bus, API Management, Logic Apps).
• Knowledge of ALM practices in Power Platform and solution packaging.
• Familiarity with M365 components (Lists, Forms, Pages, Loop).
• Agile/Scrum experience.
• Must be eligible for US federal contract work (citizenship or work authorization).

Responsibilities

• Propose system design of Power Platform products to meet project needs.
• Collaborate with end user groups to define app requirements and feasible solutions.
• Lead design sessions with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Drive innovation with latest Power Platform features and capabilities.
• Develop and manage integrations using standard/custom connectors and Dataverse APIs.
