Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a highly skilled Power Platform / D365 Solution Architect to design, implement, and lead development teams for solutions based on Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 CE (D365) projects. This role requires a breadth of knowledge across the platforms, covering Model-driven and Canvas apps, Power Pages, and D365 CE apps (Sales, Customer Service, Customer Insights).

Qualifications

• Architectural leadership in Power Platform and Dynamics 365 with ALM
• Customising Power Platform and D365 using Power Automate, .NET plugins, and JavaScript
• Integrations using APIs, middleware, and third-party platforms
• REST/SOAP APIs, Azure Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid
• Proficiency with .NET, JavaScript, ASP.NET, C# for plugins/workflows
• Experience in Agile/DevOps environments and Azure DevOps for CI/CD
• Ability to define and demonstrate non-functional requirements
• Experience with testing strategies for Power Platform/D365
• Excellent communication with customers to refine requirements
• Eligible for UK SC clearance (5 years address history)
• Knowledge of Sparx Enterprise Architect, TOGAF, ArchiMate or similar EA methodologies

Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive Power Platform and D365 solutions
• Lead development teams to deliver enterprise-scale projects
• Design and implement integrations with external systems
• Create architecture diagrams and detailed designs
• Develop documentation and user guides
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for users and staff
• Oversee lifecycle management of solutions
• Provide code reviews and enforce best practices
• Mentor junior developers and team members
• Identify process improvements and drive AI/copilot adoption
