Job summary

JPI is seeking a Power Platform Architect / Technical Lead with 10 years of experience (or 7 years with a Master’s) to design, develop, and sustain enterprise Microsoft Power Platform solutions for the US Coast Guard.

The role provides technical leadership in architecture, governance, integration, data security, and transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with DHS and federal cybersecurity requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Systems with 6+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 4+ years.
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600) and CompTIA Security+ or equivalent are required.
  • Minimum of three years direct support of US Coast Guard or government agencies in defense/Homeland Security.
  • Experience designing and deploying enterprise-scale Microsoft Power Platform solutions and governance.
  • Ability to work remotely and onsite as needed at USCG HQ.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead technical authority for all Microsoft Power Platform initiatives and governance.
  • Design and oversee enterprise-scale, secure, scalable solution architectures.
  • Provide mentorship to developers and cross-functional teams.
  • Oversee full lifecycle: requirements, prototyping, development, testing, deployment, sustainment.
  • Design integrations with enterprise systems, CRM, SharePoint Online, and 365 services.
  • Ensure compliance with DHS, Coast Guard, NIST, and federal cybersecurity requirements.
