Job summary

ClearCaptions LLC is seeking a highly skilled BI Report Developer to join our fully remote team in the United States. You will design, build, and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards using Microsoft Fabric Data Warehouse, SQL Server, and Synapse Analytics to deliver actionable insights for senior leaders.

You will apply advanced DAX, implement row-level security, and collaborate with data engineering to ensure fast, reliable reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Business or related field.
At least 3 years of hands-on Power BI development experience.
Experience with structured data from SQL Server and Synapse Analytics.
Proficiency in writing complex DAX expressions.
Strong Power BI data modeling and security knowledge.
Excellent presentation and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

Designs, develops, and deploys advanced Power BI reports and dashboards using structured data from Microsoft Fabric Data Warehouse, SQL Server, and Synapse Analytics.
Utilizes DAX expertise to create complex calculations, measures, and KPIs that provide meaningful insights to business users.
Implements row-level security measures within Power BI to ensure data confidentiality and compliance with organizational policies.
Collaborates with data engineering teams to optimize structured data models for enhanced report performance and user experience.
Manages Fabric capacity resources, monitors usage, and optimizes performance to ensure efficient report rendering.
Participates in data governance initiatives and adheres to change control processes to maintain data accuracy and consistency.
Performs thorough data analysis, distills insights, and crafts compelling data-driven narratives for effective storytelling.
Utilizes advanced visualization techniques to create interactive and visually appealing reports that convey complex information clearly.
Present complex findings and reports to executive stakeholders in a clear, professional, and impactful manner.
Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to report performance, data accuracy, and visualizations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
