Job summary

Chenega Professional Services Strategic Business Unit is seeking a Power BI Developer to design, build, and enhance a centralized Power BI Report hub that ingests data from multiple sources for decision-making and accountability. You will work with stakeholders to create dashboards, data models, and reports using Power BI, Dataverse, SharePoint, and related tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience developing Power BI reports, dashboards, and Workspace Apps.
• Experience with Power Query (M), DAX, SQL statements and/or Azure SQL, data modeling, and semantic models
• Experience supporting business intelligence solutions, including data acquisition, transformation, dashboard development, deployment, and performance optimization
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Power Apps, Power Automate, or Dataverse
• Experience integrating data from multiple enterprise systems and supporting reporting modernization efforts
• Experience working in Agile environments using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
• Knowledge of Power Platform architecture, governance, security, and best practices, including accessibility (Section 508)
• Possession of strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination
• Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

• Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations, including geospatial reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional team members to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate business needs into scalable, user-friendly reporting solutions.
• Apply data visualization and user experience best practices to improve usability and adoption.
• Support semantic models and reporting datasets using Power Query (M language), DAX, SQL, and Dataverse.
• Support enterprise data models, data quality, and reporting performance.
• Support Dataverse configuration, including tables, relationships, business rules, and security.
• Support Power Apps, Power Automate, and integrations with Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, APIs, and other enterprise sources.
• Assist with Power Platform governance, security, and environment administration.
• Support evaluation of emerging Power Platform and AI capabilities, including Copilot.
• Collaborate with project teams throughout the solution lifecycle and participate in Agile delivery activities.
• Contribute to product enhancements, testing, documentation, and user support.
