Job summary

Infinite Computer Solutions is seeking a PostgreSQL Database Engineer for Healthcare Clinical Systems. This remote US-based role demands deep healthcare workflow knowledge, extensive production Postgres administration, and advanced performance tuning, data modeling, and migrations from SQL Server/SSIS.

You will deploy and scale databases in the cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), enforce HIPAA-compliant security with RBAC and encryption, and integrate schema changes via CI/CD tools like Flyway or Liquibase.

Qualifications

• Healthcare domain experience including EHR/EMR data structures and HL7/FHIR
• Extensive PostgreSQL production experience (installation, config, backup/recovery, HA/replication)
• Experience with SQL Server/SSIS migrations to PostgreSQL and data migration planning
• Cloud deployment and scaling of database environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• HIPAA-compliant data security: encryption, RBAC, audit logging
• CI/CD pipeline integration for DB migrations (Flyway/Liquibase/Terraform)
• Monitoring/troubleshooting with modern DB tools (Datadog, Grafana, pg_stat_statements)
