Job summary

BUTTERFLY POOL SERVICES LLC in Katy, Texas, is seeking a Pool Maintenance Technician to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of customers’ pools. Responsibilities include vacuuming, testing water chemistry, and documenting pool issues. Candidates should have strong communication skills, reliability, and must be able to work outdoors year-round.

Qualified individuals will have customer service experience, the ability to lift heavy equipment, and may also be required to obtain CPO certification. This is primarily an outdoor role, requiring adaptability to various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience working with pools desired.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to operate a computer and application software.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Must be able to perceive a full range of color spectrum.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum pool floors, steps, walls, tiles, pump baskets, and more.
• Test pool water and balance the water chemistry based on those results.
• Troubleshoot minor problems to keep the pool system running.
• Document pool issues and repair needs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including cleaning, vacuuming, testing, and skimming pools.
