Job summary

LanguageLine Solutions is seeking a Polish Video-Phone Interpreter to provide live, in‑person style video interpretation from a home office within the United States. The role covers healthcare, government, finance, and more, with strict adherence to confidentiality and professional decorum.

The candidate must be fluent in Polish and English, possess strong note-taking skills, and be able to handle sensitive topics in a neutral, professional manner. WFH setup and compliance checks are required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Polish and English with strong cultural competency for both languages.
• High school diploma or equivalent, at least 18 years old, and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Prepared to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screen as required.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to video and audio interpreting sessions and conduct interpretation in a friendly and professional manner.
• Participate in online video and audio training sessions.
• Deliver interpretation services and record data on a dedicated device.
• Render concepts and meanings accurately, following established interpretation protocol and avoiding omissions or additions.
• Speak clearly in both languages with proper pronunciation, enunciation, and polite expressions.
• Maintain professional demeanor and stay calm during emergencies (e.g., 911 calls).
• Maintain punctuality and availability during scheduled work hours.
• Adhere to client instructions and compliance protocols with client permission.
• Apply terminology for medical, insurance, finance, and legal industries.
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and work in a diverse environment.
• Remain on calls for extended periods when required by call volume.
