It is a part-time position (4 to 6 hours per month).

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Remote Podcast Producer to handle post-recording production tasks for our podcast episodes. This fully remote role focuses on editing, caption verification, transcript preparation, and publishing, ensuring high-quality content delivered promptly within two days of receiving the recorded material.

Responsibilities:

• Edit and produce podcast episodes using Riverside.fm (or similar audio/video editing platforms).
• Apply professional audio and video editing techniques to enhance episode quality and audience engagement.
• Insert intro and outro bumpers, transitions, and appropriate layouts in the video content.
• Review and refine captions for accuracy and readability.
• Generate and format accurate episode transcripts for website publication.
• Collaborate effectively with podcast hosts, guests, and marketing teams to ensure alignment with branding and strategic objectives.

Qualifications:

• Proven media production experience, particularly in podcast or digital media editing.
• Familiarity with Riverside.fm or comparable platforms (e.g., Descript, Adobe Premiere, Audacity).
• Proficiency in audio/video editing software.
• Strong attention to detail, especially in caption accuracy and transcript formatting.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple episodes and adhere to tight deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SEO optimization for podcast content.
• Background in producing content tailored to technical or professional audiences.
• Ability to quickly troubleshoot technical issues during editing and publishing.

Work Arrangement:

• Fully Remote and part-time with flexible hours (Episode production must be completed within 2 days post-recording).
