Job summary

Brightside Health is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for flexible remote telehealth practice. This 1099 contract role offers autonomy to manage patient care with ongoing collaboration from psychiatrists and leadership.

The ideal candidate holds an active PMHNP license and at least 2 years of autonomous outpatient experience, with comfort using telemedicine tools and AI-assisted decision support.

Qualifications

• Active PMHNP license and board certification in psychiatric-mental health.
• Autonomous practice experience in outpatient/telehealth settings.
• Comfort with technology-enabled care and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care via telemedicine (video and async messaging).
• Prescribe and counsel medications following state and federal laws.
• Maintain licensure and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Chart within 48 hours of each session and ensure timely records.
• Respond to patient messages within 72 hours and coordinate with psychiatrists.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership and Brightside teams.
