Job summary

Rula Health is seeking a PMHNP with an active California license to join our nationwide network as an independent contractor. The role centers on conducting psychiatric assessments, creating treatment plans, and managing medications for diverse patients via telehealth.

The practice handles marketing, credentialing, insurance verification, and billing, enabling clinicians to focus on high-quality patient care while growing their income under a flexible 1099 arrangement.

Qualifications

• 1+ years as a psychiatric nurse practitioner with experience in mental health assessment, diagnosis, triage, and treatment planning.
• Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) by the ANCC.
• Registration with state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP).
• No suspension/exclusion/debarment from participation in federal healthcare programs in the past 3 years.
• Master's or doctoral degree in PMH nursing from an accredited program.
• Ability to provide telehealth.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments including diagnostic workups and treatment planning with medication management.
• Care for individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction.
• Access and utilize our EHR & telehealth platform.
• Receive support from Care Coordination teams.
• Rula handles credentialing, billing, and marketing so you can focus on patient care.
