Job summary

Trusted Results Therapy Group (TRTG) seeks an experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with a strong psychiatric background for our behavioral health team in South Carolina. PMHNP-BC preferred; substantial psychiatric experience considered.

This is a remote-first role with required in-person visits for controlled substances at SC clinics. Travel to TRTG locations is anticipated; telehealth and clinic days are scheduled to optimize patient care.

Qualifications

Active, unrestricted APRN licensure in South Carolina.
PMHNP-BC board certification strongly preferred; or APRN with psychiatric/mental health experience.
Current DEA registration to prescribe Schedule II–V controlled substances.
Minimum 2 years psychiatric clinical experience in relevant settings.
Experience managing patients on controlled substances including stimulants, benzos, MOUD.
Proficiency with telehealth platforms and EHRs.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to TRTG sites.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations via telehealth and in-person visits.
Prescribe and manage psychotropic meds per DEA and SC laws.
Perform in-person assessments at TRTG clinics for controlled substances.
Monitor medication efficacy, tolerability, and safety; adjust plans.
Maintain accurate EHR documentation per standards.
Utilize PDMP for all controlled substance prescribing decisions.
Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and PCPs on care planning.
Engage in quality improvement, peer review, and training.
