Job summary
Brightside Health is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for flexible telehealth across the nation. You will provide direct patient care remotely, prescribe medications, and collaborate with psychiatrists and clinical leadership to deliver evidence-based psychiatric care.
Prior PMHNP experience, especially in outpatient settings, and comfort with AI-enabled tools are valued. The role offers autonomy, a flexible schedule, and a 1099 contract with malpractice insurance coverage and
Qualifications
- Active and clear APRN license
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner - PMHNP required
- At least 2 years autonomous PMHNP experience
- Outpatient experience preferred
- Telehealth experience and comfort with technology
- Licensed in 4+ states (benefits the provider)
- 8+ hours availability per week
- Experience with adolescents preferred
- Medicare/Medicaid enrollment opted in
Responsibilities
- Prescribe and dispense medications under applicable laws
- Provide direct patient care via telemedicine (video and messaging)
- Maintain licensure and documentation with high standards
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and clinical leadership
- Manage charting within 48 hours of sessions
- Maintain timely patient response within 72 hours
- Communicate clearly with team and patients
