Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Product Lifecycle Management Engineer to own the PLM platform operations remotely across the U.S..

The role requires 6+ years of experience with PTC Windchill or Siemens Teamcenter, plus strong upgrades, migrations, and DBA/Linux expertise to ensure reliability, performance, and security in a large enterprise environment.

You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver scalable PLM solutions and drive platform reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of PLM platform administration experience.
• Hands-on production experience with PTC Windchill or Siemens Teamcenter.
• Experience with PLM upgrades and migrations.
• Oracle and SQL Server database administration.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration.
• Experience operating HA/DR for PLM environments.
• Scripting in shell, Python, or Ansible.
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical operation of the PLM platform—installation, configuration, and upgrades.
• Perform integrations, ensure high availability, and optimize performance and security.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver reliable PLM ecosystems.
• Lead migrations and upgrades with a measurement-driven approach.
