Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a data engineering–oriented professional to map data sources, data movement, and interfaces to ensure data quality within PLM/MDM platforms. You will engage in technical design discussions, develop, configure and test components, and contribute to reusable, service‑oriented platform solutions.

The role requires experience with Oracle/ALM/PLM, enterprise standards, and exposure to microservices, Big Data, Elasticsearch/Solr, cloud tech, and DevOps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years’ professional experience or Associate’s with 7+ years or HS diploma with 9+ years.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Application Engineering.
• Military experience equivalent to professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Map data sources, data movement, and interfaces to support data quality in PLM/MDM.
• Participate in technical discussions and document design decisions.
• Develop, configure, and test designs for components and tasks.
• Follow enterprise architecture standards and governance.
• Research tools and emerging technologies for project tasks.
• Build service‑oriented, reusable platform components.
• Develop and test POCs using established patterns under guidance.
• Collaborate with project leads to align work with goals.
• Address data‑related problems involving systems integration.
