Job summary

GE Aerospace is hiring a PLM/ALM data engineer focused on data mapping, data quality, and system integrations within PLM/MDM platforms. You will work under senior guidance to design, implement, test, and document data movement and interfaces, contributing to reusable service-oriented components.

The role requires experience with enterprise platforms around ALM/PLM, SOA/microservices, and big data tools such as Hadoop, Elasticsearch, or Solr. US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 4+ years of professional experience in related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Application Engineering.
• Military experience considered equivalent to professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute data mapping, data movement, and interface tasks to support data quality in PLM/MDM platforms.
• Participate in technical discussions and document design decisions.
• Develop, configure, and test designs for components and tasks.
• Follow enterprise architecture standards and governance.
• Research and evaluate tools/technologies for project tasks.
• Build reusable service-oriented platform components.
• Create and test POCs with standard design patterns under guidance.
• Collaborate with project lead to align work with goals.
• Work with business to address data-related integration issues.
• Apply validation methods for data quality at entry points.
• Support vendor evaluation activities in PLM space.
