Job summary

Versant Media in Orlando is seeking a Software Engineer II to build and enhance internal platform tools and services that boost developer productivity across Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, and Versant platforms.

You will work with platform engineers, product managers, and SREs to deliver scalable backend services, APIs, and frontend tools using React and Next.js, with a focus on testing, observability, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Software Engineering.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web development.
• Familiarity with React and REST APIs; understanding of frontend/backend concepts.
• Experience with version control and writing maintainable, well-tested code.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain internal platform tools and services.
• Build backend services, APIs, and data models; enhance frontend experiences with React/Next.js.
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD, and production monitoring.
