Job summary

Constructor is seeking a Platform Engineer to build critical internal software services that enhance our cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on designing and optimizing scalable services to support organizational capabilities such as real-time bot detection and traffic control.

Requires proficiency in programming languages like Go, AWS experience, and knowledge of cloud-native design. Benefits include unlimited vacation, remote work, and competitive salary ranging from $80k to $120k.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Go (preferred), Java, Python, C# or similar.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., ECS, DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, SQS).
• Familiarity with cloud-native system design best practices.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like CloudFormation (preferred), Terraform or Pulumi.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, ECS).
• Knowledge of networking concepts, security, and distributed systems.
• Understanding of web concepts and security, including OAuth, SAML, CORS, Cookies, and HTTP security.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and optimize high-throughput, low-latency services.
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver resilient, code-driven solutions.
