Job summary

Trulieve seeks a Platform Engineer to build, automate, and operate the cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines powering our enterprise. This hands-on role centers on cloud engineering and DevOps, owning infrastructure as code, automation, and CI/CD to deliver scalable, secure platforms.

Server support and observability work are also included. The ideal candidate is a builder who treats infrastructure as code, reduces toil through automation, and partners with security and application teams

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or a closely related infrastructure role.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS or Azure). Multi-cloud a plus.
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, or similar).
• Strong experience with CI/CD tooling (GitHub, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Scripting and automation skills using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar.
• Experience administering both Windows Server and Linux/UNIX environments.
• Knowledge of networking, security best practices (IAM, encryption, segmentation), and enterprise storage.
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (Splunk, OpenSearch, New Relic).
• Familiarity with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, integration, and deployment across infrastructure and applications.
• Automate provisioning, configuration management, and routine operational tasks to reduce manual effort and errors.
• Collaborate with development teams in an integrated DevOps model to enable rapid, reliable releases.
• Administer, patch, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux/UNIX server environments, both on-premises and in the cloud.
• Manage security, backups, and disaster recovery; ensure data integrity and availability.
• Provide escalation support and perform root-cause analysis to implement durable fixes.
• Build dashboards and tune alerting for platform health and faster incident response.
• Collaborate with IT, security, and application teams to define policies and standards; mentor peers on automation and best practices.
• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or Azure) focusing on scalability, cost efficiency and security.
• Implement cloud-native and hybrid solutions using IaC to ensure repeatable provisioning.
• Optimize cloud spend and performance, right-sizing resources, and recommending architectural improvements.
