Job summary

Acosta is seeking a remote, contractor-level Space Planning Analyst in the United States. The role focuses on strategic product layout in retail spaces, utilizing space management software to develop planograms (POGs) with proficiency in Blue Yonder, Apollo or Spaceman.

You will analyze data, develop client reporting, ensure planogram quality, and coordinate with clients and internal teams. A bachelor’s degree is preferred and up to one year of related experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or related work experience may substitute educational requirements.
• Up to one year of related work experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Windows and related software including Excel; PowerPoint; Power BI is a strong asset.
• Experience with syndicated data and/or space management tools is a plus.
• Clear and concise communication with team members and clients.
• Data mining using CPG math to inform recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Provide space management and merchandising analyses for assigned categories and customers, including financial data insights.
• Develop and maintain client-specific reporting to measure performance against strategies and objectives.
• Ensure planograms meet customer and client visual standards while increasing space for brands based on sales performance.
• Lead meetings with BM and clients to discuss needs and upcoming projects.
• Maintain all plan-o-grams for assigned categories and customers.
• Ensure data sources quality and deliverables accuracy through coordination with BI associates and vendors.
