Job summary

Remote Pipe Stress Engineer - Nuclear Projects

100% Remote

12+ month contract

US Citizenship or Green Card required

Base pay range

$65.00/hr - $75.00/hr

Responsibilities
  • Design and analyze modifications to existing power plants and develop new plant systems.
  • Perform engineering calculations, create isometrics, and provide design recommendations, specifications, and design change packages.
  • Lead design engineering efforts within multi-discipline project teams.
  • Provide technical support for field execution, including outage and turnaround projects.
  • Assist with constructability planning, proposals, and cost estimates.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university required.
  • 2+ years of piping/mechanical design experience, with emphasis on pipe stress analysis in nuclear facilities, oil & gas, or similar systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and effective written/verbal communication with clients, team members, project managers, and management.
  • Knowledge of ME101, AutoPIPE, SuperPipe, AutoCAD, Laser Scanning, and GTStrudl preferred.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD software.
